History of Belle Vie
Home of the AGA Studio, Belle Vie is a picturesque property tucked neatly into the northwest corner of the city of London. Just minutes from city amenities, green space never looked so good. The formal gardens of Belle Vie are perfect companions to the perimeter stands of evergreens. A stone gateway welcomes visitors and the winding lane leads not only to the main house, but also the AGA Studio, a heritage guest cottage and several outbuildings.
Owners and proprietors, Wouter and Maria Eshuis, have been cultivating their beautiful life and all that surrounds it, for nearly 30 years and the results of their landscaping labours and interior design talents, have been featured in Better Homes and Gardens, New Old House, Canadian House & Home, Country French and Canadian Home&Country. The lawns and gardens at Belle Vie offer stunning backdrops for wedding photos and interested brides and grooms are encouraged to call and book dates early to avoid any disappointment. The wedding book fills quickly each season.
HGTV recently featured the dining room of the main house on the new show TOP TEN. The room’s original design brought Belle Vie to the attention of the producers. Belle Vie dinner guests are always in for a special treat as they enjoy the ambiance of a perfect mix of old world charm and Canadian flavour. Maria’s culinary skills are renowned and much of the menu is home grown and freshly picked from her vegetable garden. There really is something very special at Belle Vie.
